What Is Our Mission

It is our mission to empower autistic women and girls by giving them the information they need to empower themselves to be able to make choices in their lives and overcome the obstacles that society can place in their way by developing a network to provide peer support through our website, social media, and local networks.

We all share our experiences in whatever way we can but whatever our role in life we all have the one aim and that is making a difference for autistic women and girls. Together we aim to make a change for the next generation of autistic girls.

We are doing what we can to raise societal understanding of autistic girls and women. As well as providing peer support and information, we raise awareness, campaign, and lobby for the rights of autistic Individuals to be upheld.

Our network hopes to provide positive mentors and opportunities for our members to embrace their uniqueness and individual strengths.

We collaborate with other organisations and support the work of individuals, groups, and organisations that advocate and provide support for autistic women and girls.

We aim to educate others by raising awareness of the challenges facing autistic women and supporting campaigns to improve diagnostic and support services.

We are now working to ensure that autistic women and girls across Wales can access the support they need to become empowered and fulfil their full potential in life, for now, our aim is to continue to reach out to others, build a supportive community who really get it

Discussions have taken place with women across the generations and we now have a vast understanding of many of the issues women, girls and their moms are facing. We have taken the time to listen to the experiences of those who understand how being neurologically different impacts your life,

We will continue developing and moulding to meet the needs of our community. As a network, we know that there needs to be more support available. We know there is a need for advocacy and more importantly a listening ear, raising a child with differences can be difficult and it can be isolating. The process of seeking a diagnosis is hugely stressful and the process can have a huge impact on the strongest family.

Parents need support but so do the adults these children become.
